For 2026 we have planned events in March, April, June, August, October & December. Less formal local type of events will be slotted into the alternating months throughout the year and details forwarded to group members.

2026 events:

• Monday, 23^rd March 2026: Maprun orienteering, Shrewsbury (Eric and Lesley Brown)
• Tuesday, 7^th April: Canal basin visit. Near Telford (Steve Taylor)
• June: Tour of The Discovery Centre with Bee expert
• August: Wine tasting – from plonk to prestigious. Church Stretton
• October: Furniture factory visit
• December Ten-pin bowling

In general, we’d be delighted to hear your thoughts about future events. Also happy to hear your thoughts on any of the activities over the last years and whether you’d want to see any of these repeated – we know that’s not in the spirit of the group as they cease to be ‘new’ but are aware that some people have been unable to make the dates of some otherwise tempting activities.
