We are are a happy, caring group with 17 members and unfortunately we do not feel that we have the space to accommodate any new members at the moment.

This was originally a beginners group but we have become much more than that, with artists of many different talents and at different stages of their artistic journey. We work on different themes – landscape, still life, animals and people, as well as flowers and occasional workshops with visiting tutors. We use a wide range of media – watercolour, sometimes with ink or pastels added, pastels, coloured pencils and acrylic. We have also tried simple printing techniques. There are no set subjects and everyone works to their own agenda.

There is always a good atmosphere at our sessions, with plenty of encouragement from each other. We aim to have a guest speaker most terms.
